Dorothy Emmet

Dorothy Emmet, a founding EP, was Professor of Philosophy in Manchester, the first woman to hold such a position in Britain. She retired early to live at 11, Millington Road and edit Theoria to Theory from its inception. Her many philosophical works focused on a version of Whitehead’s philosophy.
