Meetings

Overview of recent meetings

After a lengthy period in which no meetings of the Epiphany Philosophers were held, following the deaths of the founding leaders, the surviving Epiphany Philosophers gathered for conversation in November 2014, and began to organise a series of one-day meetings, inviting various people to join us who we felt would be on the same wave-length as the original EPs.

These meetings were held roughly annually, generally in early January, close to the Feast of the Epiphany, though there was a gap due to COVID, and an additional meeting in 2019.  The first few meetings were mainly held in Cambridge, the birthplace of the Epiphany Philosophers. However, since 2023 meetings have been held at Pusey House in Oxford, where we have been made most welcome and feel very much at home. Plainsong Evensong at Pusey House reminds us of how Evensong was done in the earlier days of the Epiphany Philosophers. The schedule of meetings in the 21st century has been as follows.
