Ted Bastin was a founding EP and a quantum physicist associated with the Language Research Unit. He was originally a Fellow of Kings College, Cambridge and later a founder of ANPA, the Alternative Natural philosophy Association. He worked with Parker-Rhodes and Kilmister on a “cybernetic” theory of quanta in which they were self-organizing systems, a process that could be modeled computationally. He also lived at 11, Millington Road until he married Suzanne Padfield.
Ted Bastin’s Wikipedia article
This is a classic Bastin paper linking the work on the combinatorial hierarchy of Parker-Rhodes to the non-classicsl logic of Brouwer and the physics work of himself, Parker-Rhodes and Kilmister.
